#1 Ori and the Will of the Wisps

Ori 1 was my favorite game before. This is my new one. Better movement, combat, darker, everything is just cranked up more in this. This game is a triumph, and any person who enjoys video games as an experience should experience it.

#2 Dead Cells

I could type essays. Incredible game for any metroidvania fan. The things you can pull of in this are amazing, and the difficulty is wonderful. Going from not being able to beat "Very Hard" to having many clears on "Hell" was my glow up of the year.

#3 Satisfactory

Satisfactory has combined incredibly fun movement with the least frustrating build mechanics I've ever seen. If you like sims with incredible flexibility and a bit of goof, give it a try. Hundreds of hours sunk in this one.

#4 20XX

Incredibly fun roguelike that pays homage to the Megaman X series in a way that both feels like you're playing a new installation while also injecting some fresh ideas. I'd particularly recommend this if you're a fan of Megaman X4/5/6/8

This song is really subversive for a futurebass style, but the real reason I love it is because every time I listen to it I feel wonderful.

I really love the atmosphere in this song. The lyrics aren't anything special but the warm fuzzies I feel listening to this is off the charts.
